Roaming

Following her Polaris-shortlisted debut, Montreal-born, Lisbon-based powerhouse Gayance returns with roaming on Tru Thoughts. A sonic travelogue spanning Haitian roots, London's broken beat, and Brazil's rhythmic heat, this album is a masterclass in diasporic storytelling. Bridging high-octane 90s House with intimate boogie French lyricism and spiritual resistance, roaming maps a decade of transit and radical self-preservation. It is a defiant, celebratory reclamation of agency from a vital architect of the global electronic soundscape. Featuring collaborations with Judith Little D, Waahli, Magi Merlin, NARCY and De. Ville.
