Positive Psychology

This second edition of Positive Psychology provides a detailed review of theoretical and empirical contributions to this expanding field. The contributors provide a scientific understanding of how a variety of human strengths and positive constructs help people to flourish in their daily lives.

The book, which has a mix of previous and new contributors, has three sections: Positive Subjective Experiences, Positive Traits, and Positive Institutional Perspectives and New Approaches to Positive Psychology. Chapter in the first section consider topics that include happiness, positive emotions, savoring, how to spend money well, key predictors of subjective well-being, meaning in life, and free will's link to well-being.
