Tiger on the Beat (1988) Chow Yun-Fat, Nina Li Chi, and Conan Lee star in Tiger on the Beat, a pulse-pounding action classic from director Lau Kar-Leung. When hotshot cop Francis Li gets partnered with loose-cannon Michael Tso, a drug investigation explodes into a city-wide battle for survival, culminating in one of the most jaw-dropping chainsaw duels ever committed to film. Fast, furious, and fueled by the undeniable chemistry of two of Hong Kong cinema's brightest stars, Tiger on the Beat is essential action filmmaking at its most gloriously unhinged.
Tiger On The Beat II (1990) Director Lau Kar-Leung and star Conan Lee reunited for Tiger On The Beat II, a high-voltage follow-up to the original box-office smash. Lam, a cop approaching 40 with few accomplishments, tries to find a decent girl for his nephew, Buffalo. However, Buffalo has an eye for 'Sweet Dream', who has accidentally witnessed a murder. The incident gets Lam, Buffalo, and Sweet Dream involved in a ruthless underground arms smuggling ring, and they are forced to fight for their lives and their freedom.
