This Book of Tasks helps students and teachers navigate the process with curiosity and optimism through a flexible and instructive approach. Created by a team of architects with over a decade of teaching at the University of Liverpool, it provides an illustrated collection of instructive exercises for students and teachers of architecture, to guide and stimulate study and skill building across the design cycles of a professional undergraduate architecture studio.

Multiple modes of activity and guidance help different learning styles whether in person, or learning remotely, in a group, or learning on your own. Many illustrations, examples, and sign-posted resources support study and suggest avenues for further independent enquiry and experimentation. For students it is a helping hand, a tutor in your pocket. For teachers the Book of Tasks fosters a reflexive approach and provides an equitable management framework.
