Proud Filipino and Murrawarri composer, rapper, producer and drummer DOBBY is back with his sophomore album 'Marshmallow'.

This record follows on from his debut album WARRANGU; River Story, a powerful sonic archive of Indigenous land knowledge and environmental justice. The album won the ARIA Award for Best World Music Album and was shortlisted for the Australian Music Prize. Its second single, Ancestor, became the #1 most played song on FBi Radio in 2024, and the album was named Album of the Week on FBi Radio, Double J, and 2SER.

MARSHMALLOW is a time-travel concept rap album born from DOBBY's journey to reconnect with his inner child. Inspired by the 1960's Stanford University Marshmallow Experiment, as well as his unreleased 2009 project 'The Royal Flame', this deeply personal project weaves together themes of willpower, mental health, and artistic growth to tell a story spanning ten years of reflection, fear, and self-discovery
