Charlie Daniels was an American multi-instrumentalist, actor, lyricist, and singer, known for his contributions to country, bluegrass, and Southern Rock music. He is perhaps best known for his number one country hit "The Devil Went Down to Georgia". Daniels passed away in 2020 aged 83. He was active as a singer and musician from the 1950s and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2016. His memoir "Never Look At The Empty Seats" was published in October 2017, and the following year Daniels released an album with a new band called Beau Weevils featuring Charlie Hayward, the bass player from The Charlie Daniels Band. This was followed by a book of daily inspirational quotes and stories - Let's All Make The Day Count: The Everyday Wisdom of Charlie Daniels. This compilation contains all the band's singles released by Epic over the years.
