A hugely popular songstress in the 50s and 60s, Rosemary Squires was known as "The British Doris Day". She also enjoyed a parallel career singing radio and TV jingles, the most memorable of which was "Hands that do dishes can feel soft as your face, with mild green Fairy liquid..." Although precious little of her catalogue has thus far been reissued in the digital era, this compilation presents the very best of her early recordings, from her first single in 1956, to the end of 1962. Included in it's entirety is "My Love Is A Wanderer", an LP she cut in the U.S.?in 1957, which has not previously been issued in the U.K. Also featured are several of her 45s which have never been on CD before, making this a genuinely indispensable package for Rosemary's fans.
