As her first car ride ends, Maggie glimpses her new home: a three-story brick and stone house at the end of a long, winding concrete pathway. After several days of exploring, Maggie discovers favorite places and quickly falls into a familiar routine. She even makes friends with the birds and squirrels that inhabit the enclosed yard!
