Special polymers have been included in the final ink formulation to enhance the print quality grade of these high quality Magenta Toner Cartridges. These particular additives also operate as a lubricant to extend critical internal printer components for maximum reliability. 

Accomplish quality printed output with up to 1200 x 1200 DPI (dots per inch) resolution thanks to the microscopic size and spherical shape of the toner granules and polymer particles developed specifically by Ricoh to perfectly match their printer models. You can also improve standard print resolution output by using different printer settings and combining with special media paper. Consider other settings to extend toner usage by switching to draft-mode when quality output is less critical i.e. internal memos.

The image creation process employed here by Ricoh is driven by laser reprographic technology. A laser produces negative and positive static electricity charges as a reverse electrostatic image on a photosensitive drum assembly. These charges then attract the opposite charged toner particles from the toner cartridge housing to make a visible image on the drum. Paper is then moved along inside the printer to a registration point where the paper meets this drum. A reverse charge is then applied below the page to then pull down the image from the drum assembly onto the waiting sheet of paper. The printed sheet is then transported to a fusing unit, where the granules of toner in the form of the image are melted and impregnated into the fibres of the paper so that it becomes permanently attached. The page then is fed from the printer onto an exit tray ready for operators use and possibly additional processing.
