Farm Animals

Children love to pat baby farm animals at petting zoos but they rarely think about all the work that farmers have to do to raise those animals so that we have food to eat. In this introductory book children will learn all the facts about where meat and skins come from in a way that is sensitive and will not tarnish their love of little lambs and calves.

Most children in cities have never been to a farm and don't know much about what farmers do. In this series find out where the food in supermarkets and the leather for shoes comes from and why the work of farmers is so vital for all of us.
