The Kingston Lions Record is a vibrant celebration of Jamaica’s rich musical legacy that brings together a revered group of musicians dubbed the Jamaican Buena Vista Social Club. Produced by Ralph Sall (Paul McCartney, Billy Joel) and helmed by legendary guitarist Mikey Chung (Grace Jones The Rolling Stones, James Brown, Maxi Priest), the project brings together a “supergroup” of Jamaica’s finest session musicians—including Featuring: Mikey “Mao” Chung, Boris Gardiner, Mikey Boo, Franklin “Bubbler” Waul, Uzziah “Sticky” Thompson, Mitch, Andrew Cassanova & Karell Wisdom - who have amongst them have played alongside Sly & Robbie, The Upsetters, Ziggy Marley and the Melody Makers, Lee Scratch Perry, Black Uhuru & Burning Spear, to name just a few.
