Jesse is 15. She loves her friends, her little brother and her parents, even though they argue all the time. But most of all she loves playing video games, even from her hospital bed. Alex is 27; he doesn't love a lot of things, he's not even sure he knows how. His desk at his office - a video game company - is empty, much as his life feels sometimes.

But then Jesse makes a wish ... that only Alex can make come true. Together they will have to face their worst fears to find out if either of them can have the happy ending they deserve.
