Dessa, Topper, and Fisk continue their search for Greyfalcon in hopes that he will lead them to Dessa's brother. But a terrible storm drives the three thieves off the road. Drenched, they take shelter at the Black Rock Inn--only to come face-to-face with their pursuer, Captain Drake.
