Jim Hensons Power Of The Dark Crystal

Years have passed since the Dark Crystal was healed and peace was restored on Thra. Though Jen and Kira have ruled as King and Queen, they have become distracted by power. The planet is sick and those on the surface of Thra are not the only ones affected. The new conflict will reveal a mysterious race of creatures called Firelings living in Mithra, a realm near the planet's core.

Jen and Kira's greatest fear will be realized when the Crystal is broken once more. The evil Skeksis will return, eager to regain their cruel dominance over the world. But even as the Gelfling and Skeksis battle for control of the Crystal Castle, Mithra pursues its own agenda to restore its former power and glory.

Caught in the middle and on the run, a fireling named Thurma and a Gelfling named Kensho will find themselves on a quest that holds the key to saving both kingdoms... and lay bare the secret that connects their two worlds

Written by Simon Spurrier (Coda, Step By Bloody Step) and Phillip Kennedy Johnson (The Last God, Action Comics) and lushly illustrated by Kelly and Nichole Matthews (Just Beyond), The Power of the Dark Crystal, the long awaited official sequel to the beloved fantasy film, is collected in its entirety for the first time in this premium hardcover.
