2016 release, the fourth studio album from internationally-acclaimed Australian alternative rock band Violent Soho. Waco is the follow-up to 2013's Hungry Ghost. The band won Best Independent Album and Best Independent Hard Rock Album at the 2015 AIR Awards. Violent Soho formed in 2004 in the Brisbane suburb of Mansfield, Queensland. The band consists of Luke Boerdam on guitar/vocals, James Tidswell on guitar/vocals, Luke Henery on bass and Michael Richards on drums. Their sound has often been likened to the alternative rock music of the 1980s and 1990s, with bands such as the Pixies, Mudhoney and Nirvana cited.
