Premiered by Richard Kingsmill on triple j’s 2021 - ‘Blue Valentine’ sees Telenova reflecting on being trapped in a cycle of writing your own melodrama and heartache; the power of the stories we tell ourselves. In the visual hypnosis, director & lead singer Angeline Armstrong toys with the lyrical themes through a visual metaphor (or a symbolic portrait) of a figure at the foot of the ocean, orchestrating the wind and the waves before her.
