The first 12 tracks were originally released in 1962 in an album titled "Connie Francis Sings Modern Italian Hits" with Connie singing contemporary Italian hits from between 1958 and 1962, several of them being entries to the renowned San Remo Festival. Most of the songs here are recorded by Connie in English/Italian. Included is the smash hit "Al Di La", Connie's hits "Jealous of You" & "Breakin' in a Brand New Brand Broken Heart", both performed in Italian, and "Quando, Quando, Quando".
