The acknowledged architect of the Nashville Countrypolitan Sound,?producer/guitarist Chet Atkins is known for his signature, finger-pickin' playing style. Alongside pianist Floyd Cramer, Chet was perhaps the most important figure in Nashville's celebrated "A"?Team of session players. Disc 1 of this unique 2-CD set presents the very best of Atkins' solo recordings between 1946-62, while Disc 2 showcases his work as a producer and session picker between 1950-62.
