The Back to Basics series provides children with the opportunity to p ractise and consolidate the skills needed to achieve mastery over the Gr ammar and Punctuation content of the Year 3 Australian Curriculum.

Each unit contains:

• a brief explan ation of a grammar or punctuation feature
• We Practise Ê- sever al examples of the feature and its usage
• You Practise Ê- 10 qu estions to help your child to practise and apply the feature
• BO B Ê a reminder to check the answers at the back of the book

Parents and carers are encouraged to read and discuss the explanation s and to do the 'We Practise' sections together with their child as well as using the removable game cards.

Review tests are provided at the end of the book to check that your child has successfully mastered t he skills taught in Units 1–20.
