"Gold Und Liebe", originally released on Virgin Records at the end of 1981, was the fourth album of the German-American Friendship aka DAF, produced by Conny Plank in his legendary studio near Cologne.
Robert Görl played all the instruments, while Gabi Delgado wrote and sang the vocals, with the exception of "El Que", whose lyrics also contributed Robert Görl.

The artwork was designed by Ken Ansell (The Design Clinic) and Ansell Sadgrove (A.S.). The longplayer contains 10 tracks, including the avant-garde anthem "Verschwende Deine Jugend".
