CD 4panel digipak -PWR BTTM is a queer punk band consisting of Ben Hopkins and Liv Bruce. The band was formed at Bard College in upstate New York where Bruce and Hopkins bonded over a mutual interest in bringing elements of performance and drag artistry into DIY culture. PWR BTTM’s debut Ugly Cherries is an album documenting the duo's experiences with queerness, gender, and adulthood over the course of a year of living in upstate New York. Ugly Cherries continues to garner massive critical acclaim landing on NPR, Spin and Rolling Stone's best of 2015 lists. Paper Magazine says "it's the vulnerability of the band's songs that sets this musical duo apart in the wildly diverse scene of rising musicians in New York," and Pitchfork declared, "they write really catchy songs and they play the shit out of them." Ugly Cherries is a co-release on Father/Daughter Records & Miscreant Records.
