Leftfield - one of electronic music's greatest acts - have announced the release of their third album 'Alternative Light Source,' the follow up to the Mercury Prize nominated 'Leftism' (1995) and 'Rhythm and Stealth' (1999).

'Alternative Light Source' features a number of collaborations, with the likes of Channy Leaneagh (Poliça), Ofei, Tunde Adebimpe (TV On The Radio) and Sleaford Mods.

Throughout the 90s Leftfield were untouchable live and on record, starting a snowball rolling for British dance music which saw them joined by outfits like Orbital, Underworld and the Dust/Chemical Brothers in breaking electronic music from the underground, onto the stage and into the charts.
