Elliot Moss, a 21-year-old singer-songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist from New York, has drawn comparisons to Bon Iver, Chet Faker, Washed Out and James Blake with his soulful vocals, strong songwriting and embrace of electronic, jazz and ambient sounds. The third generation in a family of musicians and artists, Moss will releases his debut album 'Highspeeds,' on Pod via Inertia.

Elliot hails from the suburbs on the edge of New York City. His home, which he describes as a "bohemian environment" growing up, was often booming with his father's rough. A young Elliot surveyed piles of abandoned gear entombed in the basement of his dad's recording studio. He would rescue and repair lost treasures to put to use in his own music; among them was his first guitar – a worn Silvertone 1448 which he still plays.

In conjunction with the album announcement and the now completed twenty six date tour with Cold War Kids, Elliot shared his first single "I Can't Swim" with Pigeons & Planes, who called the song "a driving, mournful song that counterpoints the singer's fragile vocals with rougher guitars and crisp drums."

Elliot has since released his latest single "Slip," which has already garnered mass critical acclaim.
