Earth, Wind & Fire’s beloved R&B-jazz-pop style brings the heat to those chilly winter months with the release of their next album, Holiday, a collection of seasonal interpretations with some exciting surprises.

Holiday finds Earth, Wind & Fire vocalist Philip Bailey, bassist Verdine White, drummer Ralph Johnson and founder-executive producer Maurice White bringing Christmas cheer with brand new versions of classic Christmas songs as only they could play them. The band is in fine form on classic carols (“The First Noel,” “O Come All Ye Faithful”) and modern favourites (“Jingle Bell Rock,” “Winter Wonderland”). Most exciting of all is “December,” a spirited, holiday-themed update of their unforgettable 1978 Top 10 hit “September.”
