One Night Stand CD/DVD features live music and footage from triple j’s One Night Stand. Each year triple j holds a free all ages, drug and alcohol free concert in an Australian regional town. They ship the best Aussie acts out to a different town and have a massive free party for a day: that’s the One Night Stand.

In the past the One Night Stand has been to places like Alice Springs, Tumby Bay, Dalby , Sale and Dubbo and this year took the One Night Stand to the banks of the Murray River to the town of Mildura and featured Illy, Rufus, Dan Sultan, Violent Soho and The Jungle Giants.

Special guests featured throughout the evening with Vance Joy jumping up for a special recording of Riptide. Magic Dirt’s Raúl Sánchez shredding up a storm for Violent Soho, Kingswood joining Dan Sultan, followed by RUFUS inviting Sydney’s Nicole Millar onstage to reprise her vocals in ‘Unforgiven’.
