“Teeth Dreams” will be the sixth studio album from The Hold Steady, one of America’s most acclaimed rock bands. The album was produced and mixed by Nick Raskulinecz(Foo Fighters, Rush, Alice in Chains, Deftones, Ghost and more) and recorded at Rock Falcon Studios in Franklin, Tennessee.

“Teeth Dreams” showcases a bigger and tougher sound for the band and follows four years after the band’s last record “Heaven Is Whenever”. The title “Teeth Dreams” refers to a common night time dream. Dreams about teeth are usually triggered by anxiety a theme that runs through a number of songs on the album.

The Hold Steady played their first show in 2003 and formed from the ashes of lead singer Craig Finn previous band Lifter Puller. They are entering their second decade as a band and have been cited as influential by numerous rock acts such as Japandroids, Titus Andronicus, Frank Turner and many others. The band are known for Finn’s incredible narratives and often feature re-occurring characters(even from album to album) whilst exploring themes like religion, partying, redemption and drug and alcohol use.

The Hold Steady have released the albums Almost Killed Me (2004), Separation Sunday(2005 – 86/100 on Metacritic), Boys And Girls In America (2006 – Pitchfork 9.4), Stay Positive (2008 – US #30, UK#15) and Heaven Is Whenever (2010 – US#26, UK#45) to date as well as one live album A Positive Rage (2009).
