Adam Liaw dives deep into the story of Japanese cuisine and culture

This new series will feature the standout talent from series one, Adam Liaw. With Adam in a solo presenting role, Destination Flavour Japan will cover the entire length of Japan from north to south starting in the snowy mountains of Hokkaido and finishing in the tropical islands of Okinawa. Adam lived in Japan for seven years working as a lawyer and is fluent in Japanese. There he also met and married his Japanese wife, Asami Fujitsuka. Its basically his second home so he can provide a true insiders perspective into Japans rich culture, the weird and the wonderful, and everything in between. More of a food documentary than a cooking show, hell visit places that are off the beaten path and get to know the food, places, people and cultural history that make Japan such a fascinating place.
