Atomic Age

Originally formed as the duo of Jared Simms and Voytek Korab, James Teej joined the outfit in 2009. This LP is their first since We Come In Pieces in 2009, and will come out on Nitin and Jonny White's No.19 Music, following on from June's EP.

The album will continue to explore the trio's dusky, synth-heavy take on house, techno and electronica, with stronger dancefloor tracks interspersed with more musical numbers.

Atomic Age is not an album full of club bangers. In fact, there's not a single one and that's okay. Give the album a few listens and you'll come to enjoy it for what it is—an electronic journey into the past's future. As we all know, everything in life is cyclical and this is no different with music. Old sounds are re-freshened with the advancement of technology and newer sounds are layered to create depth.

Atomic Age borrows from 80's electro synth-pop ("Home") and 90's acid ("Atomic Age"), grunge ("Here Tonight") and industrial ("Ride") periods to construct a sound that re-introduces electro to its dark past but with renewed, insightful perspective.
