A Man With No Past Originating The Future is the brand new album from Yoruba Records boss and Minneapolis producer Osunlade. His previous album Pyrography marked a self-proclaimed end to his house music production career and AMWNPOTF takes a much less dance floor orientated approach.

The album kicks off with the ambient, analogue soundscapes of ‘The Realm Of Difference’ and from there on in is a complete endeavour of passion for multi-instrumentalist Osunlade and a journey back to his beginnings in soul and jazz.

Vessel and Human Beings are rooted in electronic soul, the latter is a vocoder dream Daft Punk would be envious of! Sour The Plan makes a statement on the world we live in today, reminding us what a personal collection of songs this is to Osunlade.

An influx of jazz riffs dance around time signatures effortlessly in Eclipse and Luna Moth and Camera Shy both exploit the syncopated rhythms and Minneapolis sound for which Yoruba Records is famed.
