Genre-agnostic producer and artist Mailer Daemon is set to unleash his forthcoming debut EP Gravitas on May 10th. Persian blooded, American born, Malaysian bred and Sydney-based, Mailer Daemon’s rich cultural mix is reflected in the innovation and diversity of his music. A collaborative effort, the EP features the vocal stylings of several hip- hop heavyweights from the likes of iconic labels Elefant Traks (The Tongue), Big Village (Jewson of The Thundamentals and One Day (Jackie Onasis). Naming artists such as Kanye West and Depeche Mode as inspiration, Mailer Daemon’s offering presents a unique mix of psychedelic rock supported by deep sub-club bass, all against emotive EDM dynamics and rap-punk aesthetics.
