Escape

Jim Brickman revolutionized the sound of Adult Contemporary music with his pop-style solo piano. His career began as a college student writing commercial jingles, first for clients in his native Cleveland, then nationally. In 1994, he turned his talents to the art of the romantic popular song. Jim's latest album Escape is his first release of original solo music in three years. Escape features a variety of instrumental compositions and range of musical greats from R&B superstar Gerald Levert (who attended the same high school in Cleveland with Jim) and Country vocalist, Sara Evans (the Academy of Country Music's Female Vocalist of the Year for 2006). Other guest artist include jazz guitarist Marc Antoine, the 2006 Star Search winner Jake Simpson, vocalist Geoff Byrd who has been touring with Hall and Oates, and gifted violinist David Klinkenberg. Escape will be released in October 2006. In addition, Jim will embark on a five month tour beginning November 3rd.
