Pop Etc

Until February 2012 we all knew this band as The Morning Benders. However in March 2012 they announced the name change to POP ETC. Having released Big Echo on Rough Trade and having played many a dive bar, school quad, house party, county fair and pizza parlour (some of them in Australia) the band decided "the name had simply become too distracting. The MUSIC has always been our number one focus, and we want to present that to people in as pure a way as possible." From henceforth we shall be known as POP ETC So here is the first album for POP ETC. The album was recorded by the band over the course of 2011 at both Headphone Cave and Pull Studios in New York City as well as in Los Angeles at SoundEQ Studios. Though largely produced by the band, the album also features contributions from Danger Mouse and Andrew Dawson (Kanye West, Lil' Wayne, etc).
