Good looking, wisecracking house painter Jacko loves women. All women. Young or old, pretty or plain, fat or thin he just cant leave them alone. The trouble is, his intentions are often misunderstood, especially by his irascible boss, who will go to any length to keep the saucy painter and decorator away from his female relations and colleagues. Written by the creators of THE GOOD LIFE, BRUSH STROKES became another hit sitcom from the BBC and now at last, the complete and third fourth series are available on DVD. SERIES 3 EPISODE 1 Lionel is happy now that his wife has returned, but Lesley is not so keen on the new arrangement. Jacko meets someone to make music with, but Lionel strikes a flat note in the arrangements. EPISODE 2 Jac ko tries to do right by a customer and incurs Lionel's wrath. Sandra continues to say no to his advances, but is upset when he accompanies a mysterious redhead to a party. EPISODE 3 Lesley has fled the nest. Jacko is recruited for a secret painting mission, but he becomes embroiled in private family business and learns that age can be a big factor in relationships. EPISODE 4 An old friend returns from Canada with a wife and kids. All his contemporaries seem to be settling down, but Jacko remains unconvinced. EPISODE 5 Lionel offers Jacko a management course. Family, friends and colleagues all believe that this is the start of a new regime for him, but Jacko is not ready to go quietly. EPISODE 6 Sandra resigns, and Lionel is sure that marriage-shy Jacko is the reason. When he advertises her job, Jacko has to move fast to get her to change her mind then he is side-tracked by a chance meeting with Lesley. EPISODE 7 Lionel accuses Elmo of hijacking his daughter, who is working as his new barmaid; and Jacko arrives on Sandra's doorstep at 1.30 am to engage her in a serious discussion - about football.
