The Leigh Matthews led Magpies of 1990 were on a mission to finally re-establish their credibility as a Football Powerhouse. Unfortunately Kevin Sheedys Bomber machine stood in their way as they'd not only finished higher on the ladder, but had also beaten Collingwood in the 2 home & away meetings of 1990 before the Pies smashed the Bombers in the Semi Final. This look back some 22 years later takes on a slightly light hearted feel with plenty of laughs thrown in via the comments by key protagonists, but the serious drama of the many key situations still comes through strongly.
