High Highs: EP

The High Highs have been widely tipped as ‘indie darlings’ and a ‘band to watch’ on the strength of an acclaimed EP. Their debut single is the gorgeous shimmering folk-pop track 'Open Season'.
High Highs have gained high profile film and TV placements including Grey’s Anatomy for the track ‘Flowers Bloom’, their sound instantly attracting the attention of major music supervisors in the US.
The band have also attracted the attention of Pitchfork, The AV Club, Nylon, The Guardian, Spinner and many others, and have had comparisons to artists as accomplished and as disparate as Neil Young, Grizzly Bear and Radiohead.
The signature High Highs sound has struck a chord in the blogosphere as “shimmering” and “sun-kissed sadness” and singer Jack Milas’ falsetto as a “weapon of mass emotional destruction.”

High High’s Milas and Chang began making music together as High Highs in their native Sydney, Australia but are now based out of Brooklyn. They played sold-out gigs to audiences in New York – including a packed residency at Pianos on New York’s Lower East Side – and in London to a sold out crowd at the Old Queen’s Head.
