Sydney’s deerRepublic is a beast unto itself; combining hypnotic melodies with instinctive rhythm, the band hits full sonic stride with indie-rock precision. In early 2012 the band headed back into BJB studios with Jean-Paul Fung (Last Dinosaurs, Little Red) to record their debut EP “The Sweet Resistance”, again enlisting the talents of Scott Horscroft to mix the release. Known for their upbeat and energetic live shows, the boys have most recently taken over the coveted residency spot at the Beresford Hotel, giving audiences a taste of their new EP, including the single ‘The Score’ and the forthcoming new single ‘Young Reverie’.
