The year is 2045 and police officer Jake Cardigan has lost his badge after being framed for murder and dealing in an addictive, illicit drug known as tek. After serving four years of a fifteen year sentence, Cardigan is approached by a former colleague who works for an private organisation known as COSMOS, run by the mysterious Walter Bascom who Cardigan learns was behind his early release. With tek set to hook the universe, Jake agrees to work with Bascom to take on the Teklords and expose the truth.
