Rogue

Global Superstar DJ Tolga Fidan is back.
Currently based in Berlin, Fidan is a Turkish-born producer with an ominous style of minimalist house music. Rogue will be his first artist album, and is due for release on Vakant, the Berlin-based label where Fidan has been a main-stay since 2006. According to the artist himself, the LP was "was recorded in about 10 weeks in a living room (the sofa being my bed), with restless swollen eyes at dusk and a love/hate relation with my machines, microphone and electric guitar."
Born and raised in Istanbul, studied in London, and relocated to Paris in 2005, Tolga Fidan moved to Berlin in 2009 where he has been living since. With ‘Rogue’, Vakant is releasing the third debut album after Onur Özer’s ‘Kasmir’ in 2007 and Mathias Kaden’s ‘Studio 10’ in 2009. Tolga Fidan is part of the Vakant family since 2006, and has released a number of EPs on the label as well as appearances on imprints such as New Kanada, Eklo, Freak N Chic, Cocoon and Cadenza.
