The Hunger Games is the new blockbuster movie, based on the best-selling book trilogy, which has been on the New York Times bestsellers list since 2008. The film stars Australia‘s Liam Hemsworth as well as Oscar nominee Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson, plus Donald Sutherland, Stanley Tucci, Woody Harrelson, and Lenny Kravitz. The soundtrack features "Safe And Sound", the new single from Taylor Swift and The Civil Wars, plus music from Arcade Fire, The Decemberists, Kid Cudi and the Secret Sisters.

Every year in the ruins of what was once North America, the nation of Panem forces each of its twelve districts to send a teenage boy and girl to compete in the Hunger Games.
