Wild Marmalade are celebrating a decade of playing shows internationally and throughout Australia with the release their fourth album, Thermic Lift. Having completed eight tours of Japan and nine of Europe, as well as concerts in USA and Canada, Wild Marmalade have been spreading their unique didgeridoo and drum dance sound to a global audience. Thermic Lift clothes this live acoustic sound with powerful yet delicately textured electronica from keys/MPC player Si Fixion. This collaboration has its roots set deeply in the Australian dance music scene. Alongside these tracks that were recorded live in the studio, the album features Mountain Remix, a Drum 'n' Base remix of Under the Belly of the Mountain from Si's solo album Let the Spirit Out and Red Moon, a collaboration with Avishai and Amir from the internationally acclaimed group from Israel, Sheva. Thermic Lift is a groove smorgasbord full of tasty tracks. From trance to drum n base, with influences from minimal and Dub Step, this album spans many genres creating a unique cinematic journey experience.
