For the first time in the band's history, the Southern California metallic hardcore crew present a career spanning greatest hits package, with all their major label and indie tracks that have made them an underground force for over 13 years.The set includes a CD and full length DVD entitled 'New World Order - Live in L.A.', featuring a concert in Los Angeles with the band in top form. 'Major Pain 2 Indee Freedom: The Best of Hed P.E.' does a great job summarizing their recordings for Suburban Noize, and focuses primarily on material from 'Back 2 Base X', 'Insomnia', and 'New World Orphans'. Although these three albums came out long after the heyday of rap-metal and face paint, they fortunately happen to contain some of the group's best singles! On top of the dozen tracks selected from each of their 2006, 2007, and 2009 LPs, (hed) p.e. handpicked five songs from their first four outings themselves and recorded a new track titled 'No Rest 4 da Wicked' especially for this collection.
