Starring super-vixen Jayne Mansfield (The Girl Can't Help It) and funnyman Tony Randall, Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter is a hilarious satire of the world of television advertising, written and directed by animator-turned-feature filmmaker Frank Tashlin. Randall stars as the titular Rockwell P. Hunter, an ad man whose career is looking grim. To save himself from the unemployment line, Hunter decides to enlist the considerable charms of a vapid starlet, Rita Marlowe, to serve as a spokeswoman for the lipstick brand he is selling. Problem is, the sexy movie queen is "in seclusion" and only agrees to help Hunter if he pretends to be her lover - a scheme which stands to turn his relationship with his fiancee upside-down.
