Let Love In is an album where love is the main theme. The arrange-ments are subtle and the performances carefully constructed. Their abil-ity to play music noir shines through on one of the albums highlights; Red Right Hand =depicts a nightmarish figure emerging on "the edge of town," maybe a criminal and maybe something more demonic. Cave's vicious lyric combines fear and black humour perfectly, while the Seeds' performance redefines "cinematic," a disturbing organ figure leading the subtle but crisp arrangement and Harvey's addition of a sharp bell ratch-eting up the feeling of doom and judgment.‘ (quote taken from allmusic review by Ned Raggett) This is the album, of the four remasters here, that has the most rock feel, with tracks such as Thirsty Dog exuding energy.
