CDB are a four piece Pop/R&B group from Melbourne who rose to fame in the 90s, with hits including their cover of Earth, Wind & Fire's "Let's Groove", "Hook Me Up", "Hey Girl (This Is Our Time)" and "Good Times". Its original members were brothers Gary and Brad Pinto, Andrew De Silva and Danny Williams.The Essential collection covers the key tracks from their two albums, a selection of non-album B-sides to singles, their collaboration with Tommy Emmanuel from his 1998 album "Collaboration", and a solo track from Gary Pinto which was only ever released as a single. Also included here is the first ever commercial release of their cover of Michael Jackson's "P.Y.T (Pretty Young Thing" which was due to be released in 2008 on the Universal album "The Funk Sessions" but for unknown reasons was pulled prior to release.
