In recent years Moondog, the Viking of 6th Avenue has become perhaps the ultimate musical cult figure. In the late 1950s and 60s his fans and followers included Leonard Bernstein, Benny Goodman, Charlie Parker, Duke Ellington and Bob Dylan. In more recent years he’s been celebrated by Damon Albarn & Jarvis Cocker.
