Oliver Parker has made an impressive career out of directing stylish adaptations of Oscar Wilde plays, with previously successful films The Importance Of Being Earnest and An Ideal Husband. Now he continues his work with reading-list favourite, Wilde's novel DORIAN GRAY. In this drama, Dorian Gray is a corrupt young man who somehow keeps his youthful beauty eternally. However, a special painting gradually reveals his inner ugliness to all. Ben Barnes (The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian) is backed by strong performances from: Colin Firth (Bridget Jones, Love Actually, A Christmas Carol), Ben Chaplin (The Truth About Cats and Dogs, The Thin Red Line), Rebecca Hall (Vicky Cristina Barcelona) and Rachel Hurd Wood (Peter Pan, An American Haunting).
