Having signed to XL RECORDINGS in 2008, London-based trio GOLDEN SILVERS bring forth their debut album. 'True Romance' is a superbly stylish record expressed in a dazzling collaboration of colours, eras and styles. Produced by the latest producer wunderkind LEXXX, the album features nine brand new songs and updated versions of their long deleted indie singles. Their sound is as much influenced by the mix of DAFT PUNK, BEACH BOYS and giddy indie-electro mash-ups they heard on the dance floor at 'Trash', as it is by the DR DRE and MARVIN GAYE tunes they danced to at their favourite soul and hip hop club, or the BOB DYLAN, MILES DAVIS, PRINCE and HENDRIX albums they were weaned on.
