Kscope Music (Porcupine Tree, No Man) is pleased to announce the new semi-acoustic album from Anathema. ‘Hindsight’ features old and new favourites from the band’s career, with new arrangements utilising acoustic, electrical and orchestral instruments to construct the deep, emotional landscapes Anathema have become renowned for, including a brand new track ‘Unchained (Tales Of The Unexpected)’. This album also features the cello of Dave Wesling, who previously toured with the band in 2004 and is featured on the DVD ‘A Moment in Time’.

The record was arranged by guitarist Danny Cavanagh and performed by the band. It was recorded and engineered by Les Smith, who was responsible for the recording of the group’s latest new tracks to be released online. Anathema has been at the forefront of the UK rock/metal movement for many years. With a high quality catalogue covering the doom metal of early albums (as part of the classic Peaceville trinity of UK doom metal bands, along with Paradise Lost & My Dying Bride) to the atmospheric/emotional rock stylings the band developed with future releases, Anathema has gained a large worldwide following and much critical acclaim.
