Following on from the success of their UK double-platinum selling album ‘Tourist’ and its Mercury-nominated platinum selling predecessor ‘Vehicles And Animals’ England's finest, Athlete, return with their third album ‘Beyond The Neighbourhood’.

Their second album `Tourist` delivered two UK number one radio airplay hits,‘Wires’ and ‘Half Light’, the former being awarded the title of Best Contemporary Song at the Ivor Novello Awards in 2006.

Produced and recorded by the band themselves at their own studio in South East London, songs on ‘Beyond The Neighbourhood’ are built around the same effortless hooks and snagging melodies that have been Athlete's trademark.
