Markus Meier Raindance CD

Markus Meier was raised in Halls Creek in the Kimberleys. He began his musical journey at the age of five, teaching himself chords on the guitar from an old book given to him by his prospector father. In the isolation of the bush, he learned his music from his parent’s tapes - Elvis and Country. Soon he was busking wherever and whenever he could. Music was in his blood.

Produced by Garth Porter (Sara Storer, Lee Kernaghan) & mixed by Ted Howard, the album features a who’s who of Australian Country Music - John Watson, Glen Hannah, Mark Punch, Rod McCormack, James Gillard & James Blundell features on backing vocals for "The Beating Heart".
